At the time of the extensive restoration, the original stone out-buildings attached to the main house were preserved and converted into a spacious 2 bedroom cottage with separate entrance from the main house as well as several handy potting sheds.
These out-buildings complete the main house together with a magnificent stone courtyard, which is enclosed on all sides making a charming outdoor entertainment area with a round stone portal leading on to the extensive gardens and restored stone Coach House.THE WOODLAND GARDENS
The house and its surrounding buildings are set in six and a half acres of magical woodland and manicured lawns leading down towards the lake. A walled orchard and kitchen garden lead off the west side of the house. Original stone walls create 'rooms' dividing the surrounding gardens into a delightful playground for children and adult alike.
